Протягом трьох екзаменаційних днів (16-18 червня 2026 р.) студенти 2 курсу ОПП «Фізична терапія, ерготерапія» ПДМУ складали підсумковий іспит, демонструючи належний рівень опанування теоретико-практичних основ з обов’язкової дисципліни «Міжнародна класифікація функціонування та Міжнародна класифікація функціонування дітей і підлітків» (МКФ та МКФ ДП).
Іспит, що відбувся на базі кафедри фізичної та реабілітаційної медицини, став важливим етапом у формуванні професійних компетентностей майбутніх фахівців реабілітаційної галузі. Під час нього студенти продемонстрували здатність застосовувати сучасні міжнародні підходи до оцінювання функціонального стану пацієнтів, аналізу факторів середовища та планування реабілітаційних втручань відповідно до концептуальних засад МКФ.
У проведенні підсумкового оцінювання взяв участь гарант освітньо-професійної програми професор Валерій Жамардій. Його участь у роботі екзаменаційної комісії сприяла забезпеченню об’єктивності підсумкового оцінювання та підтвердила послідовну орієнтацію освітньої програми на принципи академічної доброчесності, студентоцентрованого навчання та постійного вдосконалення професійної підготовки відповідно до сучасних потреб реабілітаційної галузі.
До роботи екзаменаційної комісії були залучені представники роботодавців, які протягом семестру здійснювали практичну підготовку здобувачів освіти – Юрій Тесленко, кандидат медичних наук, доцент кафедри фізичної та реабілітаційної медицини ПДМУ, лікар-кардіолог вищої кваліфікаційної категорії, лікар фізичної та реабілітаційної медицини, завідувач відділенням реабілітації та планової кардіології КП «Полтавський обласний клінічний медичний кардіоваскулярний центр Полтавської обласної ради»; Наталія Бабич, кандидат наук з фізичного виховання і спорту, доцент кафедри фізичної та реабілітаційної медицини ПДМУ, фізичний терапевт відділення реабілітаційної та планової кардіології КП «Полтавський обласний клінічний медичний кардіоваскулярний центр Полтавської обласної ради»; Людмила Клеценко – кандидат педагогічних наук, доцент кафедри фізичної та реабілітаційної медицини ПДМУ, ерготерапевт ТОВ «Ортопед»; Євгенія Вишар – кандидат педагогічних наук, доцент кафедри фізичної та реабілітаційної медицини ПДМУ, фізичний терапевт ТОВ «Ортопед». Такий підхід забезпечив незалежне експертне оцінювання та підтвердив відповідність результатів навчання сучасним вимогам професійної діяльності у сфері фізичної терапії, ерготерапії.
Під час іспиту студенти успішно продемонстрували ґрунтовні знання теоретичних засад МКФ, уміння здійснювати комплексний аналіз клінічних випадків, визначати компоненти функціонування та обґрунтовувати вибір реабілітаційних стратегій. Відповіді здобувачів засвідчили належний рівень сформованості професійного мислення, аналітичних навичок і готовності до подальшої практичної діяльності в мультидисциплінарнихкомандах. Підтвердженням належного рівня підготовки здобувачів стало не лише успішне складання іспиту, а й опанування змісту курсу неформальної освіти на платформі Академії НСЗУ щодо застосування МКФ, який є важливою складовою сучасної системи реабілітаційної допомоги в Україні.
Проведення іспиту в такому форматі вкотре підтвердило ефективність практикоорієнтованогопідходу до реалізації освітньої програми та стало яскравим прикладом успішної співпраці університету з роботодавцями задля підготовки конкурентоспроможних, компетентних і соціально відповідальних фахівців.

Students of the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Educational Programme Successfully Passed the Final Examination in the International Classification of Functioning
Over three examination days (16–18 June 2026), second-year students of the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Educational and Professional Program at PSMU took their final examination, demonstrating a solid level of mastery of the theoretical and practical foundations of the compulsory course “International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health and the International Classification of Functioning for Children and Youth” (ICF and ICF-CY).
The examination, held at the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, marked an important stage in the development of the professional competencies of future rehabilitation specialists. During the assessment, students demonstrated their ability to apply modern international approaches to evaluating patients’ functional status, analyzing environmental factors, and planning rehabilitation interventions in accordance with the conceptual principles of the ICF.
Professor Valerii Zhamardii, Guarantor of the Educational and Professional Program, participated in the final assessment process. His involvement in the examination board contributed to ensuring the objectivity of the assessment and reaffirmed the program’s consistent commitment to the principles of academic integrity, student-centred learning, and the continuous improvement of professional training in line with the current needs of the rehabilitation sector.
Representatives of employers who had been involved in the students’ practical training throughout the semester also participated in the examination board. These included: Yurii Teslenko, Phd in Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at PSMU, cardiologist of the highest qualification category, physician in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, and Head of the Rehabilitation and Elective Cardiology Department at the Poltava Regional Clinical Medical Cardiovascular Centre of the Poltava Regional Council; Nataliia Babych, PhD in Sciences in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at PSMU, and Physical Therapist at the Rehabilitation and Elective Cardiology Department of the Poltava Regional Clinical Medical Cardiovascular Centre; Liudmyla Kletsenko, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at PSMU, and Occupational Therapist at Orthoped LLC; and Yevheniia Vyshar, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at PSMU, and Physical Therapist at Orthoped LLC.
This approach ensured independent expert evaluation and confirmed that the learning outcomes achieved by students meet contemporary professional requirements in the fields of physical therapy and occupational therapy.
During the examination, students successfully demonstrated a thorough understanding of the theoretical foundations of the ICF, the ability to conduct comprehensive analyses of clinical cases, identify components of functioning, and justify the selection of rehabilitation strategies. Their responses reflected a well-developed level of professional thinking, analytical skills, and readiness for future practical work within multidisciplinary teams. Evidence of the students’ high level of preparation was provided not only by their successful completion of the examination but also by their completion of a non-formal education course on the application of the ICF offered through the NHSU Academy platform, which is an important component of the modern rehabilitation care system in Ukraine.
The organization of the examination in this format once again confirmed the effectiveness of the practice-oriented approach to implementing the educational program and served as a vivid example of successful cooperation between the university and employers in preparing competitive, competent, and socially responsible specialists.
