24 лютого 2026 року на кафедрі внутрішньої медицини №3 з фтизіатрією ПДМУ відбулося засідання, присвячене питанням академічної доброчесності та плановим організаційним питанням. Цей день є особливо складним для держави – минуло чотири роки від початку повномасштабної війни.
Під час засідання присутні вшанували пам’ять загиблих Захисників та Захисниць України, а також мирних громадян, хвилиною мовчання. Світла пам’ять усім, хто віддав своє життя за свободу, незалежність і майбутнє країни.
На початку навчального семестру викладацький склад кафедри пройшов курси з академічної доброчесності з метою вдосконалення професійних компетентностей. У межах навчання науково-педагогічні працівники оновили знання щодо етичних норм освітньої та наукової діяльності, принципів дотримання авторського права, запобігання плагіату, коректного використання джерел та дотримання міжнародних академічних стандартів.
Отримані знання сприятимуть підвищенню якості викладання та формуванню у студентів культури чесного навчання, зміцненню довіри до результатів наукової роботи університету.

Academic Integrity and Professional Development: Meeting of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 with Phthisiology at PSMU
On February 24, 2026, the Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 with Phthisiology at Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) held a meeting dedicated to issues of academic integrity and routine organizational matters. This day is particularly solemn for the nation, marking four years since the beginning of the full-scale war.
During the meeting, attendees honored the memory of fallen Defenders of Ukraine as well as civilians with a moment of silence. Eternal memory to all who gave their lives for the freedom, independence, and future of the country.
At the start of the academic semester, the department’s faculty completed courses on academic integrity aimed at enhancing professional competencies. Within this training, academic staff updated their knowledge on ethical norms in educational and scientific activities, principles of copyright compliance, plagiarism prevention, proper use of sources, and adherence to international academic standards.
The acquired knowledge will contribute to improving teaching quality, fostering a culture of honest learning among students, and strengthening trust in the outcomes of the university’s scientific work.
