Традиційне бібліочаювання в університетській бібліотеці цьогоріч відбулося 16 грудня. Запашні чайні аромати панували у читальній залі впродовж всього дня! Ця багаторічна звичка частувати наших користувачів узимку, коли на вулиці прохолодно та вітряно, а у студентів розпочинається передекзаменаційна пора, бере свій початок з 2015 року.
Усі ці роки ідею бібліочаювання підтримує адміністрація університету, студентський профком ПДМУ, а нині до організації акції долучився і студентський парламент ПДМУ, – бо Чай залишається незмінним в одному – він обʼєднує! Чай – це не просто рідина в чашці. Це філософія, різноманітність смаків, звичаїв та епох; це історія, традиції, які передаються з покоління в покоління. У одних культурах його пʼють мовчки, вдумливо, – немов дотримуючись ритуалу. В інших – галасливо, серед друзів, використовуючи як привід для спілкування…
У теплій і затишній бібліотечній атмосфері, про надзвичайні властивості та різноманітність чайних напоїв, насолоджуючись запашним Чаєм, спілкувалися у дружньому колі наші поважні й дорогі гості: ректор університету, професор Вячеслав Ждан, перший проректор з науково-педагогічної роботи, професор Валентин Дворник, проректор з науково-педагогічної та виховної роботи, професор Валерій Похилько, представники студентського самоврядування, читачі книгозбірні. Кожен відвідувач мав можливість власноруч приготувати свій неповторний травʼяний Чай, дізнавшись про властивості обраних трав із видань, що були представлені на виставці «Симфонія чаю».

A Tea Symphony at the University Library
The traditional library tea gathering took place this year on December 16 at the university library. Fragrant tea aromas filled the reading hall throughout the day! This long-standing tradition of treating our readers during the winter season—when it is cold and windy outside and students are entering the pre-exam period—has been cherished since 2015.
Over the years, the idea of library tea gatherings has been supported by the university administration and the PSMU Student Trade Union Committee. This year, the PSMU Student Parliament also joined the organization of the event—because one thing about tea never changes: it brings people together. Tea is not just a drink in a cup. It is a philosophy, a diversity of flavors, customs, and eras; it is history and tradition passed down from generation to generation. In some cultures, tea is enjoyed silently and thoughtfully, almost as a ritual. In others, it is shared noisily among friends, serving as a reason to connect and communicate.
In the warm and cozy atmosphere of the library, while learning about the remarkable properties and diversity of tea drinks and enjoying aromatic tea, our distinguished and dear guests gathered for friendly conversations. Among them were Professor Viacheslav Zhdan, Rector of the University; Professor Valentyn Dvornyk, First Vice-Rector for Education and Research; Professor Valerii Pokhylko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Extracurricular Activities; representatives of student self-government; and library readers.
Each visitor had the opportunity to create their own unique herbal tea, learning about the properties of the selected herbs from publications presented at the exhibition “The Symphony of Tea.”
