24 лютого 2026 року припадає четверта річниця повномасштабного вторгнення росії на територію України. З 2025 року цей день рішенням Верховної Ради оголошено Національним днем молитви за Україну.
У цей пам’ятний для країни день здобувачі освіти 6 курсу 3 групи медичного факультету №1 ПДМУ під керівництвом доценток кафедри внутрішньої медицини №1 Ольги Шапошник та Наталії Приходько долучилися до тематичної зустрічі-розмови, присвяченої подіям повномасштабного вторгнення та ролі медиків у цей складний час.
Під час заходу студенти згадали події 24 лютого 2022 року, обговорили причини війни та трагічні наслідки, які Україна переживає досі.
Здобувач освіти Василь Мощій підготував міні-доповідь «Війна, що змінила кожного», у якій наголосив на важливості духовної стійкості, взаємопідтримки та єдності українського народу в умовах сьогодення.
У форматі відкритого діалогу майбутні медики обговорювали значення єдності, взаємопідтримки та професійної відповідальності під час війни.
Зустріч відбулася у невимушеній атмосфері: студенти зібралися разом, переглянули тематичні матеріали та поділилися власними думками й переживаннями. Особливу увагу приділили ролі медиків у воєнний час та усвідомленню професійної відповідальності перед суспільством.
Національний день молитви став для університетської спільноти нагодою вшанувати пам’ять полеглих Героїв, висловити підтримку Захисникам і Захисницям України та засвідчити свою солідарність у прагненні миру.

On the Anniversary of the Full-Scale War: Thematic Meeting Held at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1 of PSMU
February 24, 2026 marks the fourth anniversary of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Since 2025, by decision of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, this date has been designated as the National Day of Prayer for Ukraine.
On this memorable day for the country, sixth-year students of Group 3 of Medical Faculty No. 1 at Poltava State Medical University, under the guidance of Associate Professors of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1, Olha Shaposhnyk and Nataliia Prykhodko, took part in a thematic discussion dedicated to the events of the full-scale invasion and the role of medical professionals during this challenging time.
During the event, students recalled the events of February 24, 2022, discussed the causes of the war, and reflected on the tragic consequences that Ukraine continues to endure.
Student Vasyl Moshchii delivered a short presentation entitled “The War That Changed Everyone,” emphasizing the importance of spiritual resilience, mutual support, and the unity of the Ukrainian people in today’s circumstances.
In an open dialogue format, future doctors discussed the significance of unity, mutual assistance, and professional responsibility during wartime.
The meeting was held in an informal atmosphere: students gathered together, viewed thematic materials, and shared their personal thoughts and experiences. Particular attention was paid to the role of medical professionals in wartime and to understanding their professional responsibility to society.
The National Day of Prayer became an opportunity for the university community to honor the memory of the fallen Heroes, express support for the Defenders of Ukraine, and reaffirm solidarity in the pursuit of peace.
