1 грудня 2025 р. завідувачка кафедри інфекційних хвороб з епідеміологією, професор Тетяна Коваль разом зі здобувачами 1 групи 6 курсу медичного факультету №1 долучились до акції, приуроченої до Всесвітнього дня боротьби зі СНІДом та порозуміння з ВІЛ-інфікованими, яка відбулась у холі адміністративного корпусу ПДМУ. Під час акції вона звернула увагу учасників на те, як саме передається ВІЛ, підкресливши важливість відповідальної поведінки та дотримання заходів безпеки для запобігання інфікуванню. Вона також наголосила на необхідності підтримки й поваги до людей, які живуть із ВІЛ, підкреслюючи значення толерантності та подолання упереджень у суспільстві. Після завершення освітньої частини акції всі охочі мали можливість швидко та безкоштовно пройти тестування на ВІЛ.

For World AIDS Day and in Support of People Living with HIV
On December 1, 2025, Professor Tetiana Koval, the Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology, together with 6-year students of Group 1 of the Medical Faculty No. 1, joined an awareness event dedicated to World AIDS Day and solidarity with people living with HIV. The event took place in the lobby of the administrative building of PSMU.
During the event, she drew participants’ attention to the ways HIV is transmitted, emphasizing the importance of responsible behavior and adherence to safety measures to prevent infection. She also stressed the need to support and respect people living with HIV, highlighting the importance of tolerance and overcoming stigma within society.
After the educational part of the event, everyone interested had the opportunity to undergo free and rapid HIV testing.
