Гуртківці кафедри мікробіології, вірусології та імунології ПДМУ взяли участь у ХХХ Ювілейному конгресі студентів і молодих учених «Майбутнє за наукою», що відбувся з 31 березня по 3 квітня 2026 року на базі Тернопільського національного медичного університету імені І. Я. Горбачевського в офлайн- та онлайн-форматах.
У межах секції «Мікробіологія та вірусологія» здобувачі освіти представили свої наукові роботи:
Діана Сікалюк, Анастасія Віговська – «Особливості формування мікробіому та адгезивний потенціал збудників при гострому бактеріальному риносинуситі» (наукові керівники: к. мед. н., доцент Світлана Зачепило; к. б. н., доцент Валентина Полянська) – диплом І ступеня;
Валерія Смолка, Єгор Луценко, Олена Білокінь – «Дуальність взаємодії аскорбінової кислоти та культури музейного стафілокока (S. aureus ATCC 25923)» (науковий керівник: к. б. н., доцент Віра Федорченко) – диплом ІІІ ступеня;
Ravi Kant Joshi, Biswas Milee – «Bioactive coating for hernia meshes and its antibacterial potential» (наукові керівники: к. б. н., викладач Нелля Боброва; д. мед. н., професор Олена Важнича) – учасники конгресу.
Доповіді супроводжувалися змістовними презентаціями, що дозволили наочно продемонструвати результати досліджень та актуальність обраних тем.

Student Researchers of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology — Participants and Prize Winners of the Jubilee Congress “The Future Belongs to Science”
Student researchers of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) took part in the 30th Jubilee Congress of Students and Young Scientists “The Future Belongs to Science,” held from March 31 to April 3, 2026, at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University in both offline and online formats.
Within the “Microbiology and Virology” section, students presented their research:
Diana Sikaliuk, Anastasiia Vihovska — “Features of Microbiome Formation and Adhesive Potential of Pathogens in Acute Bacterial Rhinosinusitis” (academic supervisors: Associate Professor Svitlana Zachepylo, PhD in Medicine; Associate Professor Valentyna Polianska, PhD in Biology) — 1st degree diploma;
Valeriia Smolka, Yehor Lutsenko, Olena Bilokin — “Duality of Interaction between Ascorbic Acid and a Museum Strain of Staphylococcus (S. aureus ATCC 25923)” (academic supervisor: Associate Professor Vira Fedorchenko, PhD in Biology) — 3rd degree diploma;
Ravi Kant Joshi, Biswas Milee — “Bioactive Coating for Hernia Meshes and Its Antibacterial Potential” (academic supervisors: Lecturer Nellia Bobrova, PhD in Biology; Professor Olena Vazhnycha, Doctor of Medical Sciences) — congress participants.
The presentations were accompanied by well-structured and informative slides, clearly demonstrating the research findings and the relevance of the chosen topics.
