20 лютого 2026 року, у День вшанування подвигу Героїв Небесної Сотні, працівники кафедри громадського здоров’я, менеджменту та медичної експертизи Полтавського державного медичного університету переглянули виставу «Свитка» у Полтавському академічному обласному українському музично-драматичному театрі імені М. В. Гоголя.
Поетична композиція за творами заслуженої журналістки України, полтавки Наталки Святцевої передає події Майдану, а згодом – і повномасштабної війни, розкриває біль і відчай, які відчувають українці, а також тугу за полеглими воїнами та невинними жертвами. Вистава висвітлює теми служіння громаді, любові та втрати, гідності, віри і свободи - усе те, чим жила Наталія Святцева та вся Україна протягом останніх років.
Виконання віршів акторами театру створило атмосферу співпереживання та нагадало про ціну, яку було сплачено за свободу і європейський вибір України. Подібні заходи сприяють формуванню національної свідомості та патріотичного виховання, зокрема серед майбутніх медичних фахівців.
Герої не вмирають, поки жива пам’ять про них.

Department of Public Health at PSMU Honors the Memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes
On February 20, 2026, on the Day of Remembrance of the Heroism of the Heavenly Hundred, staff members of the Department of Public Health, Management and Medical Expertise of Poltava State Medical University attended the performance “Svytka” at the Poltava Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after M. V. Hohol.
The poetic composition, based on the works of Honored Journalist of Ukraine and Poltava native Nataliia Sviattseva, conveys the events of the Maidan and later the full-scale war, revealing the pain and despair experienced by Ukrainians, as well as the sorrow for fallen soldiers and innocent victims. The performance highlights themes of service to the community, love and loss, dignity, faith, and freedom — values that defined both Nataliia Sviattseva’s life and Ukraine’s path in recent years.
The actors’ recitation of poetry created an atmosphere of deep empathy and served as a reminder of the price paid for Ukraine’s freedom and European choice. Such events contribute to strengthening national consciousness and patriotic education, particularly among future medical professionals.
Heroes do not die as long as the memory of them lives on.
