Сьогодні світ відзначає Всесвітній день дитини, коли ми нагадуємо про права та їх щасливе майбутнє. На кафедрі анатомії з клінічною анатомією та оперативною хірургією доцент Михайло Коптев та викладачі Владислав Олексієнко та Ярина Олійніченко провели виховні бесіди до Дня захисту дітей в Україні. Викладачі наголосили, що дорослі мають усвідомити, що діти - така ж частина суспільства, як і вони. Проте бути дорослим у країні, яка воює, важко, а ще важче бути дитиною і не розуміти, чому все відбувається саме так.

Для українців цей день назавжди змінився. Ми живемо у світі, де не можемо захистити себе, а захист дітей стає ще важчим завданням. Світ, де сирена викликає тривогу, де проліт ракети чи звук дронів викликає плач і бажання заховатися - не може бути щасливим. Наші діти вчаться не лише шкільним предметам, а навичкам виживання. Вони знають відчуття втрати, горя і смутку, відчуття боротьби за життя після поранення. Багато з них не бачили мирного життя, а дехто так ніколи про нього не дізнається.

Та попри все вони залишаються дітьми із їх мріями, бажаннями. Завдання ж дорослих - робити цей світ кращим і приводити у нього щасливих людей, але у людства не виходить це робити досконало.

Проте ми можемо все змінити заради кращого майбутнього!

We Can Change Everything for the Sake of the Future

Today, the world marks the World Children’s Day—a reminder of children’s rights and the importance of ensuring a happy and safe future for every child. At the Department of Anatomy with Clinical Anatomy and Operative Surgery, Associate Professor Mykhailo Koptev, together with the lecturers Vladyslav Oleksiienko and Yaryna Oliinychenko, conducted educational discussions dedicated to the Children’s Day in Ukraine.

During the discussions, the instructors emphasized that adults must recognize that children are an integral part of society. Yet being an adult in a country at war is difficult—and being a child who cannot understand why everything is happening is even harder.

For Ukrainians, this day has taken on a new meaning. We live in a world where even our own safety cannot always be guaranteed, and protecting children becomes an even greater challenge. A world where sirens cause panic, where the flight of a missile or the buzz of drones triggers tears and an urge to hide, cannot be considered a happy one. Ukrainian children today learn not only school subjects—they learn survival. They know the feelings of loss, grief, and sorrow. They know what it means to fight for life after an injury. Many of them have never seen peace, and some may never know what peaceful life feels like.

Despite everything, they remain children—with dreams, hopes, and wishes. The responsibility of adults is to make this world better and to bring happy people into it. Yet humanity has not always succeeded in fulfilling this mission. 

Still, we have the power to change everything—for the sake of a better future!
