2 квітня 2026 року у Полтавському державному медичному університеті відбувся конкурс «МІС ПДМУ 2026» – яскравий захід, який об’єднав студентів, викладачів і гостей навколо сили, інтелекту та самовираження сучасної жінки. Це була подія, у якій краса поєднувалася з харизмою, талантом і внутрішньою впевненістю учасниць.
Конкурс відбувся у концертній залі Полтавського академічного симфонічного оркестру за підтримки ректора, професора Вячеслава Ждана.
8 учасниць продемонстрували не лише зовнішню привабливість, а й інтелектуальність, креативність та ерудицію під час чотирьох конкурсних етапів: дефіле, «Візитівки», інтелектуального конкурсу та творчих виступів.
Особливістю цьогорічного конкурсу стало тематичне перевтілення у видатних жінок світової історії та культури, які стали символами сили, стилю та впливу.
Проректор з науково-педагогічної та виховної роботи, професор Валерій Похилько підкреслив символічність події:
«Це прекрасне дійство, яке несе красу, любов і щирість. Особливо знаково, що воно відбулося у рік 105-річчя університету. Це не просто конкурс краси – перед нами постали історії жінок, які надихають, змінюють життя і надовго залишаються в пам’яті».
Кожна конкурсантка представила унікальний образ і власну життєву позицію:
Саманта Мвамбо (медичний факультет №1) – Клеопатра:
«Я не слідую правилам – я їх створюю».
Підкреслила, що справжня влада починається з внутрішньої впевненості. Отримала титули «Міс багатогранність» та ІІ віце-міс.
Алєксандра Ульзутуєва (1 курс, медичний факультет №1) – княгиня Ольга:
«Справжнє світло йде від внутрішнього вогню, який ніхто не зможе загасити».
Нагороджена титулом «Міс елегантність».
Анастасія Шикота (3 курс, медичний факультет №1) – Марія Склодовська-Кюрі:
«Людина отримає тільки те, до чого вона прагне».
Отримала титул «Міс інтелектуальність».
Валерія Габелкова (3 курс, стоматологічний факультет) – Коко Шанель:
«Щоб бути незамінною, потрібно бути іншою».
Виборола титули «Міс витонченість» та І віце-міс.
Олександра Пікуль (3 курс, медичний факультет №2) – Мерлін Монро:
«Справжність – моя головна роль. Сила – мій вибір».
Стала переможницею конкурсу та отримала титул «Міс талановитість».
Ілона Санталова (2 курс, ННМІ) – Одрі Хепберн:
«Ікона стилю, муза моди і легенда кіно».
Отримала титул «Міс креативність».
Аліна Покровенко (2 курс, медичний факультет №1) – Моніка Беллуччі:
«Легенда, яка пише свою історію».
Здобула титули «Міс артистичність» та «Міс глядацьких симпатій».
Анна Харламова (1 курс, медичний факультет №1) – Анджеліна Джолі:
«Краса жінки – в її очах, бо це двері до її серця».
Отримала титул «Міс чарівність».
Проректор з навчальної роботи, професор Давид Аветіков поділився емоціями:
«Минуло понад 30 років, але нічого не змінилося – на сцені такі ж талановиті та прекрасні студентки. Я щиро заздрю майбутнім пацієнтам цих лікарів. Ви довели, що найкращі студенти – саме у ПДМУ!».
Голова Студентського парламенту ПДМУ Ольга Резніченко, одна з організаторів конкурсу, зазначила:
«Тематика конкурсу є надзвичайно актуальною, адже вона підкреслює роль жінки як рушійної сили в суспільстві та світі. Учасниці гідно розкрили й донесли цю ідею».
Захід мав благодійну мету – під час заходу відбувався збір коштів на підтримку Збройних Сил України. Учасники також вшанували пам’ять загиблих захисників та захисниць Хвилиною мовчання.
За результатами конкурсної програми і рішенням журі корону «Міс ПДМУ 2026» здобула Олександра Пікуль (медичний факультет №2, 3 курс), яка постала в образі Мерлін Монро та вразила глядачів і журі своєю щирістю, наполегливістю, харизмою й талантом.
Першою віце-міс стала Валерія Габелкова, а титул другої віце-міс отримала Саманта Мвамбо.
Захід залишив яскраві враження та ще раз підтвердив: студентки ПДМУ – це майбутні фахівчині, які поєднують професіоналізм, людяність і харизму.

“MISS PSMU 2026”: Stories of Women Who Inspire, Transform and Shape the Future
On April 2, 2026, Poltava State Medical University hosted the “MISS PSMU 2026” contest — a vibrant event that brought together students, faculty, and guests around the strength, intellect, and self-expression of the modern woman. It was an occasion where beauty was combined with charisma, talent, and the inner confidence of the participants.
The contest took place in the concert hall of the Poltava Academic Symphony Orchestra with the support of the Rector, Professor Viacheslav Zhdan.
Eight contestants demonstrated not only their attractiveness but also their intellect, creativity and erudition during four competition stages: the catwalk, personal presentations, an intellectual contest, and creative performances.
A special feature of this year’s contest was the thematic transformation into outstanding women of world history and culture, who have become symbols of strength, style, and influence.
Professor Valerii Pokhylko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Extracurricular Activities, emphasized the symbolic nature of the event:
“This is a wonderful occasion that brings beauty, love, and sincerity. It is especially significant that it took place in the year of the university’s 105th anniversary. This is not just a beauty contest — before us unfolded stories of women who inspire, change lives, and remain in memory for a long time.”
Each contestant presented a unique image and personal life philosophy:
Samantha Mwambo (Medical Faculty No. 1) as Cleopatra:
“I do not follow rules — I create them.”
She emphasized that true power begins with inner confidence. She received the titles “Miss Versatility” and Second Vice Miss.
Aleksandra Ulzutueva (1-year student, Medical Faculty No. 1) as Princess Olha:
“True light comes from an inner fire that no one can extinguish.”
Awarded the title “Miss Elegance.”
Anastasiia Shykota (3-year student, Medical Faculty No. 1) as Marie Skłodowska-Curie:
“A person achieves only what they strive for.”
Received the title “Miss Intelligence.”
Valeriia Habelkova (3-year student, Dental Faculty) as Coco Chanel:
“To be irreplaceable, one must be different.”
Won the titles “Miss Grace” and First Vice Miss.
Oleksandra Pikul (3-year student, Medical Faculty No. 2) as Marilyn Monroe:
“Authenticity is my main role. Strength is my choice.”
Became the winner of the contest and received the title “Miss Talent.”
Ilona Santalova (2-year student, Medical Education and Research Institute) as Audrey Hepburn:
“A style icon, a muse of fashion, and a legend of cinema.”
Received the title “Miss Creativity.”
Alina Pokrovenko (2-year student, Medical Faculty No. 1) as Monica Bellucci:
“A legend who writes her own story.”
Won the titles “Miss Artistry” and “Miss Audience Choice.”
Anna Kharlamova (1-year student, Medical Faculty No. 1) as Angelina Jolie:
“A woman’s beauty lies in her eyes, for they are the doorway to her heart.”
Received the title “Miss Charm.”
Professor Davyd Avetikov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, shared his impressions:
“More than 30 years have passed, yet nothing has changed — the stage still features equally talented and beautiful students. I sincerely envy the future patients of these doctors. You have proven that the best students are at PSMU!”
Olha Reznichenko, Head of the PSMU Student Parliament and one of the organizers, noted:
“The theme of the contest is extremely relevant, as it highlights the role of women as a driving force in society and the world. The participants perfectly conveyed this idea.”
The event also had a charitable purpose — funds were raised during the event to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Participants also honored the memory of fallen defenders with a minute of silence.
According to the results of the competition and the jury’s decision, the crown of “Miss PSMU 2026” was awarded to Oleksandra Pikul (Medical Faculty No. 2, 3rd year of study), who appeared as Marilyn Monroe and impressed both the audience and the jury with her sincerity, perseverance, charisma, and talent.
The First Vice Miss title went to Valeriia Habelkova, while Samantha Mwambo became Second Vice Miss.
The event left vivid impressions and once again confirmed that PSMU students are future professionals who combine expertise, humanity, and charisma.
