21 вересня 2026 року на кафедрі громадського здоров’я, менеджменту та медичної експертизи ПДМУ відбувся захід до Міжнародного дня миру за участю здобувачів освіти 1-ї та 11-ї груп 5-го курсу стоматологічного факультету.
Під час заходу учасники обговорювали власні асоціації зі словом «мир» та ділилися думками про його значення в сучасному світі.
Окремо йшлося про те, що для медиків мир означає не лише відсутність війни, а й можливість забезпечувати здоров’я та безпеку людей, працювати у стабільному середовищі та розвивати систему громадського здоров’я.
Міжнародний день миру є символом надії та співчуття для мільйонів людей у всьому світі, які прагнуть завершення збройних конфліктів та побудови світу без війн і страждань.

International Day of Peace: PSMU Discusses Peace as a Value for Society
On 21 September 2026, the Department of Public Health, Management and Medical Expertise of Poltava State Medical University held an event dedicated to the International Day of Peace, with the participation of 5-year students from Groups 1 and 11 of the Faculty of Dentistry.
During the event, participants discussed their personal associations with the word “peace” and shared their views on its meaning in the modern world.
Particular attention was paid to the fact that, for healthcare professionals, peace means not only the absence of war, but also the opportunity to protect people’s health and safety, work in a stable environment, and contribute to the development of the public health system.
The International Day of Peace is a symbol of hope and compassion for millions of people around the world who long for an end to armed conflicts and the creation of a world free from war and suffering.
