1 вересня 2025 року на кафедрі анатомії людини Полтавського державного медичного університету відбувся урочистий виховний захід під символічною назвою «Вартові Життя: Історії Справжніх Героїв», який ознаменував початок нового навчального року та став важливим етапом у формуванні світогляду майбутніх медиків.
Захід відкрив завідувач кафедри, професор Володимир Гринь, підкресливши, що для лікаря медицина є не лише професією, а й справжнім покликанням, де кожне врятоване життя є свідченням мужності, милосердя та високого професіоналізму.
Участь у зустрічі також взяли науково-педагогічні працівники кафедри, які разом зі здобувачами освіти стоматологічного та медичного факультету № 1 вшанували тих медичних працівників, котрі щодня стоять на передовій боротьби за життя та здоров’я людей. Їхня праця стала прикладом незламності духу, гуманізму та беззаперечної відданості професії.
Особлива увага під час заходу була зосереджена на виховному аспекті підготовки майбутніх лікарів. Викладачі наголосили, що кожен студент-медик покликаний не лише здобувати знання, а й формувати у собі моральні цінності – людяність, відповідальність та готовність служити суспільству.
Підсумком заходу стало звернення до студентської молоді з побажанням розпочати новий навчальний рік із розумінням високої місії лікаря та усвідомленням того, що саме від них у майбутньому залежатиме продовження шляхетної справи їхніх попередників – справжніх вартових життя.

Courage and Compassion: PSMU Hosts the Event “Guardians of Life”
On September 1, 2025, the Department of Human Anatomy of Poltava State Medical University held a ceremonial educational event under the symbolic title “Guardians of Life: Stories of True Heroes.” The event marked the beginning of the new academic year and became an important step in shaping the worldview of future medical professionals.
The event was opened by Professor Volodymyr Hryn, the Head of the Department, who emphasized that medicine for a doctor is not just a profession, but a true calling, where every life saved is a testament to courage, compassion, and high professionalism.
The meeting was also attended by academic staff of the department, who, together with students of the Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Medicine No. 1, honored those medical workers who stand daily on the frontlines of the fight for human life and health. Their work serves as an example of unbreakable spirit, humanity, and unwavering dedication to the profession.
Special attention during the event was given to the educational aspect of training future doctors. Faculty members stressed that every medical student is called not only to gain knowledge but also to cultivate moral values — humanity, responsibility, and readiness to serve society.
The event concluded with an address to the student community, encouraging them to begin the new academic year with an awareness of the noble mission of a doctor and with the understanding that the continuation of the honorable work of their predecessors — the true guardians of life — will one day depend on them.
