First Case History Presentations Held at PSMU’s Department of Postgraduate Education for Orthodontists
On 19 October 2026, the Department of Postgraduate Education for Orthodontists at Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) held its first case history presentations by participants enrolled in the orthodontics specialization programme. The clinical case discussions and comprehensive analyses focused on Class I malocclusions according to Angle’s classification.
The presentations were supervised by the Head of the Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Vira Kuroiedova. For the programme participants, this was their first experience of publicly presenting clinical cases.
Vira Dmytrivna helped the participants identify aspects requiring more in-depth consideration, assessed their clinical reasoning, and provided recommendations on critically analysing cases and predicting treatment outcomes. This guidance will help them prepare and present clinical case discussions at an even higher professional level in the future.
Congratulations to the orthodontics specialization programme participants on successfully completing this assessment stage! We wish them every success in their further academic and clinical work!
