Фонд бібліотеки Полтавського державного медичного університету поповнився новим спеціалізованим виданням, присвяченим сучасним аспектам обстеження та лікування пацієнтів із переломами нижньої щелепи.
Навчальний посібник «Травматичні ушкодження нижньої щелепи» був переданий авторами – викладачами кафедри хірургічної стоматології та щелепно-лицевої хірургії – з метою розширення науково-освітніх ресурсів для здобувачів другого (магістерського) рівня освіти за ОПП «Стоматологія».
Посібник систематизує та узагальнює великий обсяг інформації щодо клінічних проявів переломів нижньої щелепи, а також вибору методів фіксації відламків залежно від їх характеру та локалізації. Практичне значення для майбутніх лікарів-стоматологів мають також наведені дані про особливості переломів нижньої щелепи у дітей та людей похилого віку, а також рекомендації щодо реабілітації пацієнтів на різних етапах репаративного остеогенезу.
Адміністрація бібліотеки висловлює щиру подяку авторам за нову книгу та запрошує всіх зацікавлених ознайомитися з нею.

New Publication in the PSMU Library: Textbook on Traumatic Injuries of the Mandible
The library collection of Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) has been enriched with a new specialized publication devoted to contemporary aspects of the examination and treatment of patients with mandibular fractures.
The textbook “Traumatic Injuries of the Mandible” was donated by its authors—lecturers of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery—with the aim of expanding scientific and educational resources for students of the second (Master’s) level of higher education enrolled in the Dentistry educational program.
The manual systematizes and summarizes a large body of information on the clinical manifestations of mandibular fractures, as well as on the selection of fixation methods depending on the type and localization of fracture fragments. Of particular practical value for future dentists are the sections addressing the specific features of mandibular fractures in children and elderly patients, along with recommendations for patient rehabilitation at various stages of reparative osteogenesis.
The library administration expresses sincere gratitude to the authors for the new book and invites all interested readers to familiarize themselves with it.
