19 червня 2026 року у ПДМУ відбувся практично орієнтований іспит для здобувачів освіти освітньо-професійної програми «Фізична терапія, ерготерапія» першого (бакалаврського) рівня вищої освіти.
Особливістю цієї події стало те, що атестацію проходили перші випускники освітньо-професійної програми «Фізична терапія, ерготерапія», які протягом чотирьох років здобували професійні компетентності, необхідні для майбутньої практичної діяльності.
Розпочався іспит із вітального слова директорки Навчально-наукового медичного інституту Жанни Кундій. Теплі напутні слова та побажання успіхів здобувачам освіти висловили проректор з науково-педагогічної роботи Давид Аветіков та завідувач кафедри фізичної та реабілітаційної медицини Микола Рябушко.
Практично орієнтований іспит проводився у форматі змодельованих клінічних кейсів за участю стандартизованих пацієнтів, що забезпечило можливість комплексно оцінити рівень сформованості професійних компетентностей здобувачів. Зокрема, було перевірено практичні навички обстеження та оцінки стану пацієнта/клієнта, здатність до планування та проведення втручань з фізичної терапії та ерготерапії, готовність до роботи з ветеранами та пацієнтами, які мають посттравматичний стресовий розлад (ПТСР), а також знання й практичне виконання алгоритмів невідкладної долікарської допомоги.
Організація роботи атестаційної комісії здійснювалася під головуванням стейкхолдера з когорти роботодавців – Наталії Бабич, кандидата наук з фізичного виховання і спорту, доцента кафедри фізичної та реабілітаційної медицини ПДМУ, фізичного терапевта відділення реабілітаційної та планової кардіології КП «Полтавський обласний клінічний медичний кардіоваскулярний центр Полтавської обласної ради».
Усі здобувачі освіти продемонстрували високий рівень теоретичної підготовки, професійного мислення та практичних навичок. Члени атестаційної комісії забезпечили професійне, об’єктивне та всебічне оцінювання результатів навчання, здобутих студентами протягом усього періоду навчання.
Іспит пройшов у доброзичливій та конструктивній атмосфері, ставши важливим підсумком багаторічної підготовки майбутніх фахівців сфери фізичної терапії та ерготерапії.

The First Graduates of the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Educational Program Successfully Passed the Practice-Oriented Examination
On June 19, 2026, a practice-oriented examination was held at PSMU for students enrolled in the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy educational and professional program at the first (Bachelor’s) level of higher education.
A distinctive feature of this event was that the candidates undergoing assessment were the first graduates of the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy educational and professional program, who had spent four years developing the professional competencies required for their future clinical practice.
The examination commenced with welcoming remarks from Zhanna Kundii, Director of the Medical Education and Research Institute. Words of encouragement and best wishes for success were also delivered by Davyd Avetikov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Mykola Riabushko, Head of the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.
The practice-oriented examination was conducted in the format of simulated clinical cases involving standardized patients, providing an opportunity for a comprehensive assessment of the students’ professional competencies. In particular, the examination evaluated practical skills in patient/client assessment and examination, the ability to plan and implement physical therapy and occupational therapy interventions, readiness to work with veterans and patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as knowledge and practical application of pre-hospital emergency care algorithms.
The work of the Examination Board was organized under the chairmanship of a stakeholder representing the employer community, Nataliia Babych, PhD of Sciences in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at PSMU, and Physical Therapist of the Rehabilitation and Elective Cardiology Department of the Municipal Enterprise Poltava Regional Clinical Medical Cardiovascular Centre of the Poltava Regional Council.
All students demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge, professional reasoning, and practical skills. The members of the Examination Board ensured a professional, objective, and comprehensive assessment of the learning outcomes achieved by the students throughout their entire period of study.
The examination was conducted in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, serving as an important culmination of many years of preparation for future specialists in the fields of physical therapy and occupational therapy.
