Щорічно 10 грудня у світі відзначають Міжнародний день прав людини, заснований Генеральною асамблеєю ООН у 1948 році. Доценти кафедри біології Ваценко А.В., Улановська-Циба Н.А., Передерій Н.О., Шевченко К.В., Григоренко А.С. зі здобувачами освіти перших курсів стоматологічного та медичного факультету №1, другого курсу медичного факультету №2 відвідали читальну залу університету і ознайомилися із виставкою літератури, присвяченої Міжнародному дню прав людини. День прав людини покликаний привернути увагу до важливості дотримання базових свобод і прав: права на життя, освіту, працю, свободу слова, віросповідання та багатьох інших. В дискусії студенти висловлювали свої погляди на проблему захисту прав людини в Україні особливо в період воєнного стану. Викладачі наголошували, що освіта відіграє важливу роль у вихованні свідомого суспільства, яке знає свої права і поважає права інших.

Human rights are the foundation of justice, peace and societal development
Every year on 10 December, the world marks International Human Rights Day, established by the UN General Assembly in 1948. Associate Professors of the Department of Biology — A.V. Vatsenko, N.A. Ulanovska-Tsyba, N.O. Perederii, K.V. Shevchenko, and A.S. Hryhorenko — together with first-year students of the Faculty of Dentistry and Medical Faculty No. 1, as well as second-year students of Medical Faculty No. 2, visited the university reading room and explored a literature exhibition dedicated to International Human Rights Day.
Human Rights Day aims to draw attention to the importance of upholding fundamental freedoms and rights: the right to life, education, work, freedom of speech, religion, and many others. During the discussion, students shared their views on the protection of human rights in Ukraine, especially during the period of martial law.
Lecturers emphasized that education plays a crucial role in fostering a conscious society that knows its rights and respects the rights of others.
