Співробітники кафедри оториноларингології з офтальмологією ПДМУ взяли участь у роботі науково-практичної конференції оториноларингологів України «Сучасні стратегії діагностики, лікування та реабілітації в оториноларингології», яка відбулася 28 – 30 вересня 2024 року у м. Івано-Франківськ. Тематика конференції охоплювала широке коло нагальних питань, спрямованих на лікування пацієнтів з бойовою травмою лицевого та мозкового черепа, гострими та хронічними запальними захворюваннями приносових пазух та вуха, розладами слуху та голосоутворення при акубаротравмах.
Завідувач кафедри, к.мед.н. Михайло БЕЗЕГА представив доповідь на тему «Frontal sinus surgery: анатомія, ризики, стратегія». В своїй промові спікер окреслив основні анатомічні особливості лобних пазух, зупинився на можливостях сучасних методів діагностики фронтитів, висвітлив їхні переваги та недоліки. Окрема увага доповідача була акцентована на основних етапах ендоназальної фронтотомії, можливих інтраопераційних та післяопераційних ускладненнях, шляхах профілактики стенозування лобно-носового співустя та значущості післяопераційних реабілітаційних заходів.
Участь в наукових заходах такого рівня надає чудову можливість представити результати власних досліджень, обмінятися досвідом, поглибити власні знання, а також ознайомитися з передовими діагностичними технологіями та новітніми стратегіями лікування актуальних проблем сучасної оториноларингології.

PSMU Scientists Present Results of Their Research
Staff of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology with Ophthalmology at PSMU took part in the scientific-practical conference of otorhinolaryngologists of Ukraine “Current Strategies of Diagnosis, Treatment and Rehabilitation in Otorhinolaryngology”, held on September 28–30, 2024, in Ivano-Frankivsk. The conference covered a wide range of pressing issues, including treatment of patients with combat-related craniofacial injuries, acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the paranasal sinuses and ear, as well as hearing and voice disorders resulting from acoustic barotrauma.
The Head of the Department, PhD in Medicine Mykhailo Bezeha, delivered a presentation on the topic “Frontal sinus surgery: anatomy, risks, strategy”. In his report, the speaker outlined the main anatomical features of the frontal sinuses, emphasized the possibilities of modern diagnostic methods for frontal sinusitis, and highlighted their advantages and limitations. Special attention was given to the main stages of endonasal frontotomy, possible intraoperative and postoperative complications, approaches to preventing stenosis of the nasofrontal duct, and the importance of postoperative rehabilitation measures.
Participation in scientific events of this level provides an excellent opportunity to present one’s own research results, exchange experience, deepen professional knowledge, and become acquainted with advanced diagnostic technologies and innovative treatment strategies addressing urgent issues of contemporary otorhinolaryngology.
