21 січня 2026 року учасники циклу спеціалізації кафедри післядипломної освіти лікарів-ортодонтів ПДМУ представили результати засвоєних знань під час захисту історії хвороби на тему: «Відкритий прикус: етіологія, клініка та лікування в різні вікові періоди».
Під час захисту учасники детально розглянули клінічний випадок, обговорили сучасні підходи до діагностики та лікування відкритого прикусу, а також поглибили практичні навички.
Захист провела завуч кафедри Людмила Галич, яка надала професійні коментарі та акцентувала увагу на ключових аспектах ведення пацієнтів із цією патологією прикусу.
Такі заходи є важливою складовою підвищення клінічної компетентності лікарів-ортодонтів та сприяють поглибленню теоретичної підготовки й розвитку практичних навичок.

Postgraduate Orthodontics Trainees Deepen Their Expertise: Open Bite Across Different Age Groups
On January 21, 2026, participants of the specialization training cycle at the Department of Postgraduate Education for Orthodontists at PSMU presented the results of their acquired knowledge during the defense of a case history on the topic “Open Bite: Etiology, Clinical Features and Treatment at Different Age Stages.”
During the defense, the participants thoroughly analyzed a clinical case, discussed modern approaches to the diagnosis and management of open bite, and further enhanced their practical skills.
The defense was conducted by Liudmyla Halych, Head of the Department, who provided professional feedback and emphasized key aspects of patient management for this type of malocclusion.
Such events are an important component of enhancing the clinical competence of orthodontists and contribute to strengthening theoretical knowledge and developing practical skills.
