Наприкінці жовтня за підтримки завідувачки жіночої консультації №1 Комунального підприємства «4-а міська клінічна лікарня Полтавської міської ради імені Леоніда Куроєдова» Сидоренко Лариси лікарі-інтерни 107 групи під керівництвом асистента кафедри дитячої стоматології Мосієнко Анни провели просвітницьку лекцію для вагітних на тему «Профілактика раннього дитячого карієсу шляхом формування гігієнічної культури майбутніх мам».

Під час заходу майбутнім мамам була надана інформація щодо важливості профілактики стоматологічних захворювань у дітей, особливостей догляду за порожниною рота під час вагітності, а також розповсюджено пам’ятки з практичними рекомендаціями щодо профілактики раннього дитячого карієсу. Турбота про здоров’я зубів у вагітних та їх стоматологічна обізнаність сприяє формуванню здорових зубів у дітей. Кафедра продовжує роботу з вагітними жінками заради сттоматологічного здоров’я дітей.

Dental Education for Expectant Mothers –  Essential Step Toward Healthy Teeth in Children

At the end of October, with the support of Larysa Sydorenko, Head of the Maternity Outpatient Clinic No. 1 of the Municipal Enterprise “4th City Clinical Hospital of Poltava City Council named after Leonid Kuroiedov”, dental interns of Group 107, under the guidance of Anna Mosiienko, Assistant at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, conducted an educational lecture for expectant mothers on the topic:

“Prevention of Early Childhood Caries Through the Formation of Oral Hygiene Culture Among Expectant Mothers.”

During the session, participants received valuable information about the importance of preventing dental diseases in children, proper oral care during pregnancy, and practical guidelines for maintaining healthy teeth. The team also distributed informative leaflets containing practical recommendations for the prevention of early childhood caries.

Raising awareness about oral health during pregnancy plays a key role in ensuring healthy teeth in children. The Department of Pediatric Dentistry continues its outreach efforts among expectant mothers — for the sake of children’s dental health and brighter smiles in the future.
