2 березня 2026 року відбулося урочисте закриття ІІ (обласного) етапу Всеукраїнського конкурсу-захисту науково-дослідних робіт учнів – членів Малої академії наук України.
Колектив кафедри ортодонтії Полтавського державного медичного університету щиро вітає з перемогою – ІІІ місцем у науковій секції «Медицина» – Марію Северин, студентку Фахового медико-фармацевтичного коледжу ПДМУ (група 22/9с).
Тема науково-дослідної роботи: «Сучасний погляд на використання ортодонтичних імплантів».
Науковий керівник роботи – професор кафедри ортодонтії ПДМУ Марина Дмитренко, науковий консультант – завідувачка кафедри ортодонтії, професор Любов Смаглюк.
У дослідженні обґрунтовано сучасний підхід до застосування ортодонтичних імплантів як скелетного анкоражу, що базується на використанні ключових критеріїв оцінки успішності лікування. Такий підхід дозволяє підвищити ефективність ортодонтичної терапії та мінімізувати ризики розвитку ускладнень у чітко визначених клінічних випадках.
Практичне значення роботи полягає у вивченні досвіду лікарів-ортодонтів України щодо застосування мініімплантів, а також у розробці алгоритму характеристики мініімпланту на прикладі демонстрації клінічного випадку.
Колектив кафедри ортодонтії бажає Марії подальших наукових успіхів і перемоги на наступному етапі конкурсу.

A Student of the Professional College of Medicine and Pharmacy at PSMU Won a Prize Place at the Regional Stage of the Junior Academy of Sciences Competition
On March 2, 2026, the ceremonial closing of the II (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian Competition–Defense of Research Projects of Students – Members of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine took place.
The staff of the Department of Orthodontics of Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) sincerely congratulates Maria Severyn, a student of the Professional College of Medicine and Pharmacy at PSMU (group 22/9s), on winning third place in the scientific section “Medicine.”
The topic of her research project was “Current Perspective on the Use of Orthodontic Implants.”
The research supervisor was Professor Maryna Dmytrenko of the Department of Orthodontics at PSMU, and the scientific consultant was Professor Liubov Smahliuk, Head of the Department of Orthodontics.
The study substantiates a modern approach to the use of orthodontic implants as skeletal anchorage, based on the application of key criteria for evaluating treatment success. This approach makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of orthodontic therapy and minimize the risk of complications in clearly defined clinical cases.
The practical significance of the work lies in examining the experience of Ukrainian orthodontists in the use of mini-implants and in developing an algorithm for characterizing a mini-implant, demonstrated through a clinical case.
The staff of the Department of Orthodontics wishes Maria further scientific achievements and success at the next stage of the competition.
