Студентка 4 курсу медичного факультету №1 Полтавського державного медичного університету Вероніка Мамонтова стала учасницею міжнародного молодіжного обміну «Breaking The Ice: Integration In Action» Erasmus+, який відбувся у Польщі з 29 січня по 8 лютого 2026 року. Проєкт об’єднав молодь із України, Польщі, Італії, Хорватії та Литви та був спрямований на розвиток міжкультурного діалогу, соціальної взаємодії й підтримку ментального добробуту молоді.
Програма поєднувала неформальну освіту, творчі воркшопи та інтеграційні активності в міжнародних командах. Учасники презентували культуру своїх країн, працювали над розвитком комунікаційних і лідерських навичок, брали участь у театральних та арт-терапевтичних практиках, зокрема у творчих постановках у просторі історичного палацу Длугошів у Горлицях. Організатором проєкту виступив Фонд розвитку місцевих громад «Ініціатива».
За словами Вероніки, обмін став можливістю вийти за межі звичного освітнього середовища, здобути новий досвід співпраці та представити Україну на міжнародному рівні. Учасниця долучилася до міжкультурного вечора, відвідала місцеві культурні локації регіону, брала участь у тренінгах із гірськолижного спорту та інтеграційних заходах, що сприяли командній взаємодії.
Учасники української команди висловлюють щиру подяку організаторам і міжнародним партнерам за відкритий освітній простір, підтримку молоді та можливість реалізувати спільні міжкультурні ініціативи.

PSMU Student Participates in an International Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Poland
Veronika Mamontova, a fourth-year student of Medical Faculty No. 1 at Poltava State Medical University, took part in the international Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project “Breaking the Ice: Integration in Action,” which was held in Poland from January 29 to February 08, 2026.
The project brought together young people from Ukraine, Poland, Italy, Croatia and Lithuania and focused on fostering intercultural dialogue, social interaction, and supporting youth mental well-being.
The program combined non-formal education, creative workshops, and integration activities in international teams. Participants presented the cultures of their countries, developed communication and leadership skills, and engaged in theatrical and art-therapy practices, including creative performances held in the historic Długosz Palace. The project was organized by the Foundation for the Development of Local Communities 'Initiative'.
According to Veronika, the exchange became an opportunity to step beyond the usual academic environment, gain new collaborative experience, and represent Ukraine at the international level. She took part in an intercultural evening, visited local cultural sites in the region, and participated in skiing training sessions and team-building activities that strengthened cooperation among participants.
The members of the Ukrainian team expressed their sincere gratitude to the organizers and international partners for creating an open educational space, supporting youth development, and providing opportunities to implement joint intercultural initiatives.
