У межах виховної роботи відділу освітньо-виховної та гуманітарної роботи з молоддю ПДМУ відбулася тематична зустріч зі студентами 6 курсу (1 група) медичного факультету № 1 за участю практичного психолога Тетяни Климач.
Зустріч проведено за сприяння кафедри ендокринології з дитячими інфекційними хворобами та з ініціативи відповідальної за виховну роботу кафедри Катерини Пікуль.
Зустріч була присвячена питанням попередження насильства в медичній сфері та етичним аспектам взаємодії між лікарем і пацієнтом. Під час обговорення розглянули актуальні проблеми насильства щодо медичних працівників, а також ситуації, у яких насильницькі дії можуть виникати з боку медиків. Зокрема, йшлося про випадки надання медичної допомоги пацієнтам, які перебувають у стані страху, емоційної напруги або відмовляються від медичних втручань.
Особливу увагу приділили таким питанням:
- видам насильства в медичній практиці (фізичному, психологічному, вербальному);
- поняттю інформованої згоди пацієнта;
- правам і обов’язкам медичного працівника;
- алгоритмам дій у конфліктних та стресових ситуаціях;
- значенню професійної комунікації як ключового чинника профілактики насильства.
Зустріч проходила у форматі відкритого діалогу з аналізом практичних кейсів. Це дало змогу студентам висловити власні думки та обговорити складні етичні й правові ситуації, з якими вони можуть зіткнутися у майбутній професійній діяльності.
Проведення таких заходів сприяє формуванню у майбутніх лікарів відповідального ставлення до прав пацієнтів, розвитку навичок ненасильницької комунікації та усвідомленню важливості захисту гідності як пацієнта, так і медичного працівника.

Thematic Meeting on Preventing Violence in the Medical Field with a Practical Psychologist
As part of the educational and mentoring activities of the Department of Educational, Social and Humanitarian Work with Youth at PSMU, a thematic meeting was held with 6th-year students (Group 1) of the Faculty of Medicine No. 1, with the participation of practical psychologist Tetiana Klymach.
The meeting was organized with the support of the Department of Endocrinology with Pediatric Infectious Diseases and initiated by Kateryna Pikul, who is responsible for mentoring activities at the department.
The discussion focused on preventing violence in the medical field and on ethical aspects of interaction between doctors and patients. Participants addressed current issues of violence against healthcare professionals, as well as situations in which violent actions may occur on the part of medical staff. In particular, attention was given to cases of providing medical care to patients who are experiencing fear, emotional stress, or who refuse medical interventions.
Special emphasis was placed on the following issues:
- types of violence in medical practice (physical, psychological, verbal);
- the concept of informed patient consent;
- the rights and responsibilities of healthcare professionals;
- action algorithms in conflict and stressful situations;
- the role of professional communication as a key factor in preventing violence.
The meeting was held in the format of an open dialogue with the analysis of practical cases. This approach enabled students to express their own views and discuss complex ethical and legal situations they may face in their future professional practice.
Such events contribute to shaping future doctors’ responsible attitudes toward patients’ rights, developing non-violent communication skills, and raising awareness of the importance of protecting the dignity of both patients and healthcare professionals.
