Occupational Therapy Week at PSMU: Students Receive Guidance on Master’s Degree Admission
On 20 October 2026, as part of Occupational Therapy Week, the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) hosted an information session for third- and fourth-year students enrolled in the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy educational programme who are preparing to graduate with a bachelor’s degree. The session was led by Hennadii Balia, PhD in Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Executive Secretary of the PSMU Admissions Committee.
Representatives of the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at PSMU also attended the meeting.
A preliminary student survey had demonstrated considerable interest in continuing their studies at the second (master’s) level of higher education.
During the session, participants received up-to-date information about opportunities to pursue a master’s degree, the specifics of the admissions campaign, the main stages of the application process, and admission requirements. Particular attention was given to questions that students most frequently encounter when planning their future educational pathways.
The meeting took the form of an open dialogue, allowing students to ask questions and receive clarification about admission procedures directly from a representative of the Admissions Committee
Such meetings help students explore opportunities for further education in advance and make informed decisions about their future academic and professional careers.
