Вихід на пенсію не означає забуття, самотність і відчуття непотрібності. Все залежить від колективу, у якому працював, від його згуртованості, емоційності та від кожної людини, від її людяності і бажання віддавати свою увагу та час.
Колектив кафедри фізіології вважає своїм обов’язком пам’ятати, турбуватися, постійно допомагати ветеранам кафедри, зміцнюючи безперервний зв’язок поколінь.
Так, майже все життя на кафедрі фізіології працювала лаборантом Соловйова Валентина Павлівна. Та прийшов час і вона пішла на заслужений відпочинок. Зараз вона у досить поважному віці і, звичайно, як кожна людина потребує уваги та підтримки. Всі ці роки колектив кафедри не забуває свою колегу, весь час відвідує її, допомагає долати деякі побутові проблеми та і просто вносить хоч маленьке пожвавлення у її самотнє життя. Ось і вчора у домівку Валентини Павлівни завітали гості, її колеги Зайтуна Моргун та Валентина Соколенко. Погомоніли, поспілкувались, згадали минуле. А спілкування – це найбільша потреба людини на схилі літ.

Caring for veterans of labor is a priority of educational work
Retirement does not mean oblivion, loneliness, and feelings of uselessness. Everything depends on the team in which they worked, on its cohesion, emotionality, and on each person, on their humanity and desire to give their attention and time.
The staff of the Department of Physiology considers it their duty to remember, care for, and constantly help the veterans of the department, strengthening the continuous connection between generations.
For example, Valentina Pavlovna Soloviova worked as a laboratory assistant in the Department of Physiology for almost her entire life. But the time came, and she went on a well-deserved retirement. She is now at a respectable age and, of course, like everyone else, needs attention and support. All these years, the staff of the department has not forgotten their colleague, visiting her regularly, helping her overcome some everyday problems, and simply bringing a little excitement to her lonely life. Yesterday, Valentina Pavlovna's colleagues, Zaytuna Morgun and Valentina Sokolenko, visited her home. They chatted, talked, and reminisced about the past. Communication is the greatest need of a person in their twilight years.
