Кіноклуб «Морква» Студентського парламенту Полтавського державного медичного університету організував кінопоказ для всіх, хто цікавиться сучасним українським кіно та суспільно важливими темами.

Цього разу учасники мали змогу переглянути документальну стрічку «Люди кольору свободи»— глибоку й зворушливу історію про ненасильницький спротив українців на тимчасово окупованих територіях з 2014 року.

У фільмі показано силу духу, гідність і мужність тих, хто навіть під тиском окупації зберігає віру, ідентичність та любов до своєї країни. «Люди кольору свободи» розповідає про мешканців Криму, Донеччини, Луганщини, Херсонщини та інших регіонів, де звичайні люди обирають шлях ненасильницького опору — від актів спротиву до громадських ініціатив.

Документальну стрічку створено громадською організацією «Тутешні» за підтримки Сил спеціальних операцій Збройних сил України та партнерів. Її мета — показати, що боротьба за свободу має безліч форм і навіть без зброї можна залишатися на своєму фронті — моральному та громадянському.

Перегляд фільму допомагає майбутнім медикам глибше усвідомити цінність людського духу, гідності та стійкості — рис, без яких неможливо стати справжнім лікарем. Приклади ненасильницького спротиву навчають емпатії, відповідальності та поваги до кожної людини навіть у найскладніших обставинах.

Після показу студенти обговорили побачене, поділилися враженнями та роздумами про свободу, гідність і силу людського духу.

“People of the Color of Freedom” Film Screening Held at PSMU

The “Morkva” Film Club of the Student Parliament at Poltava State Medical University organized a film screening for everyone interested in contemporary Ukrainian cinema and socially significant topics.

This time, participants watched the documentary “People of the Color of Freedom” — a profound and moving story about the nonviolent resistance of Ukrainians in temporarily occupied territories since 2014.

The film portrays the strength, dignity, and courage of those who, even under occupation, preserve their faith, identity, and love for their homeland. “People of the Color of Freedom” tells the stories of residents of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and other regions where ordinary people choose the path of nonviolent resistance — from small acts of defiance to broader civic initiatives.

The documentary was created by the “Tuteshni” NGO with the support of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and partner organizations. Its purpose is to show that the struggle for freedom takes many forms, and even without weapons, one can continue to stand on the moral and civic frontline.

Watching the film helps future doctors to gain a deeper understanding of the values of human spirit, dignity, and resilience — qualities essential to becoming a true medical professional. Examples of nonviolent resistance teach empathy, responsibility, and respect for every individual, even under the most challenging circumstances.

After the screening, students discussed the film, sharing their impressions and reflections on freedom, dignity, and the strength of the human spirit.
