22 квітня 2026 року для лікарів-інтернів ІІ року навчання групи 242-П за спеціальністю «Педіатрія» на кафедрі анатомії людини доцентом кафедри нервових хвороб Катериною Гринь було проведено бінарне навчальне заняття зі СК 20 «Генетичні та метаболічні захворювання у дітей».
Під час заняття розглядалися сучасні аспекти спадкових захворювань, фактори ризику та шляхи профілактики генетичної патології. Для лікарів педіатричного профілю знання з медичної генетики є надзвичайно актуальними, адже саме вони стикаються з широким спектром вроджених аномалій, порушень розвитку та спадкових синдромів. Розуміння генетичних механізмів дозволяє своєчасно виявляти ризики, проводити ранню діагностику та призначати адекватні профілактичні й лікувальні заходи.
Особлива увага була приділена питанням практичних аспектів спостереження дітей із генетично обумовленими захворюваннями, обговоренню питань дотримання здорового способу життя майбутніми батьками. Проведене заняття сприяло поглибленню професійних компетенцій лікарів-інтернів, розширенню їхнього клінічного мислення та підвищенню готовності до роботи з пацієнтами, які мають складні генетичні проблеми.
З метою підвищення наочності та ефективності навчального процесу лікарям-інтернам у музеї кафедри анатомії людини було продемонстровано анатомічні препарати, що ілюструють цілий ряд генетично обумовлених аномалій розвитку.
Захід організовано за ініціативи завідувача кафедри нервових хвороб, професора Михайла Дельви та завідувача кафедри анатомії людини, професора Володимира Гриня, що підкреслює важливість міжкафедральної інтеграції у підготовці майбутніх фахівців.
Інтеграція знань з медичної генетики у педіатричну практику є важливим кроком до забезпечення якісної та сучасної медичної допомоги дітям.

A binary (integrated) class on genetic and metabolic diseases in children was held at PSMU
On April 22, 2026, a binary training session on SC 20 “Genetic and Metabolic Diseases in Children” was conducted for second-year medical interns (group 242-P) specializing in Pediatrics at the Department of Human Anatomy. The session was delivered by Associate Professor Kateryna Hryn from the Department of Nervous Diseases.
During the class, modern aspects of hereditary diseases, risk factors, and approaches to the prevention of genetic pathologies were discussed. For pediatric practitioners, knowledge of medical genetics is extremely relevant, as they encounter a wide range of congenital anomalies, developmental disorders, and hereditary syndromes. Understanding genetic mechanisms enables timely risk identification, early diagnosis, and the implementation of appropriate preventive and therapeutic measures.
Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of monitoring children with genetically determined diseases, as well as to discussions on maintaining a healthy lifestyle by future parents. The session contributed to enhancing the professional competencies of medical interns, expanding their clinical thinking, and increasing their readiness to work with patients who have complex genetic conditions.
To improve the clarity and effectiveness of the learning process, anatomical specimens illustrating a wide range of genetically determined developmental anomalies were demonstrated to the interns in the museum of the Department of Human Anatomy.
The event was organized at the initiative of the Head of the Department of Nervous Diseases, Professor Mykhailo Delva, and the Head of the Department of Human Anatomy, Professor Volodymyr Hryn, highlighting the importance of interdepartmental integration in the training of future specialists.
The integration of medical genetics knowledge into pediatric practice is an important step toward ensuring high-quality and modern medical care for children.
