20 жовтня 2026 року на клінічній базі кафедри оториноларингології з офтальмологією ПДМУ, розташованій в отоларингологічному відділенні КП «2-а МКЛ ПМР», відбувся майстер-клас для лікарів-слухачів циклу тематичного удосконалення (ТУ) «Сучасні ендоскопічні технології в оториноларингології», організований професором Юрієм Гасюком.
Захід був присвячений особливостям застосування новітніх малоінвазивних хірургічних методів лікування запальних захворювань верхніх дихальних шляхів.
Під час навчального тренінгу професор Юрій Гасюк провів ендоскопічне оперативне втручання на порожнині носа та приносових пазухах. Кожен етап операції він демонстрував лікарям-отоларингологам, які приїхали з різних регіонів України для підвищення рівня професійної кваліфікації, пояснював особливості виконання маніпуляцій і відповідав на запитання учасників.
Після завершення інтервенції між учасниками практикуму відбулося жваве обговорення сучасних підходів до риносинусохірургії. Під час дискусії слухачі ставили запитання, висловлювали власні погляди на проблемні питання та обґрунтовували свої позиції.
На завершення заходу узагальнили основні особливості ведення пацієнтів у реабілітаційному періоді, розглянули можливі ризики розвитку післяопераційних ускладнень та окреслили шляхи їхнього уникнення.
Високий професійний рівень науково-педагогічних працівників кафедри та належне технічне забезпечення допомогли слухачам ознайомитися із сучасними світовими тенденціями в хірургічному лікуванні запальних захворювань ЛОР-органів, поглибити знання та вдосконалити практичні навички.

PSMU Hosts a Master Class on Modern Endoscopic Technologies in Otorhinolaryngology
On 20 October 2026, a master class for physicians attending the continuing professional development (CPD) course Modern Endoscopic Technologies in Otorhinolaryngology was held at the clinical training site of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology with Ophthalmology at Poltava State Medical University (PSMU), located in the Otolaryngology Department of Municipal Enterprise “Second City Clinical Hospital of Poltava City Council.” The event was organized by Professor Yurii Hasiuk.
The master class focused on the application of advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques for treating inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
During the training session, Professor Yurii Hasiuk performed an endoscopic surgical procedure involving the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. He demonstrated each stage of the operation to the otorhinolaryngologists who had travelled from various regions of Ukraine to enhance their professional qualifications. He explained the specifics of each surgical maneuver and answered the participants’ questions.
Following the procedure, the participants engaged in an active discussion of contemporary approaches to rhinosinus surgery. During the discussion, the physicians asked questions, shared their perspectives on challenging clinical issues, and provided arguments to support their views.
At the conclusion of the event, the participants reviewed the key aspects of patient management during the rehabilitation period, examined potential risks of postoperative complications, and discussed ways to prevent them.
The high professional standards of the Department’s academic staff, combined with appropriate technical facilities, enabled participants to explore current global trends in the surgical treatment of inflammatory diseases of the ear, nose and throat (ENT), deepen their knowledge, and enhance their practical skills.
