13–14 листопада 2025 року відбулася VІІІ науково-практична конференція «Психосоматична медицина: наука та практика» з міжнародною участю, яка об’єднала фахівців у сфері ментального здоров’я. Захід був присвячений збереженню ментального здоров’я в Україні та є дотичним до національної програми Першої леді Олени Зеленської «Ти як?»

Конференція проходила у змішаному форматі та зібрала понад 6 тисяч учасників — клінічних і медичних психологів, психіатрів, психотерапевтів, а також сімейних лікарів та інших фахівців, зацікавлених у психічному благополуччі своїх пацієнтів.

Полтавський державний медичний університет представляла професор кафедри психіатрії, наркології та медичної психології Лариса Герасименко. Вона виступила в секції «Психосоматика без меж: інтеграція біологічних, клінічних і культуральних підходів» з усною доповіддю «Нарцисизм як соціокультурна пандемія».

Тема викликала значний інтерес серед учасників та підкреслила актуальність міждисциплінарного підходу у сфері психічного здоров’я.

Збереження ментального здоров’я — це виклик і водночас пріоритет сучасності, що об’єднує медичну спільноту в усьому світі.

Preserving Mental Health in Ukraine: 8th Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Psychosomatic Medicine: Science and Practice”

On 13–14 November 2025, the 8th Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “Psychosomatic Medicine: Science and Practice” was held, bringing together professionals in the field of mental health. The event focused on the preservation of mental health in Ukraine and is aligned with the national program of the First Lady Olena Zelenska “How Are You?” 

The conference took place in a hybrid format and brought together more than 6,000 participants — clinical and medical psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, family doctors, and other specialists interested in enhancing the psychological well-being of their patients.

Poltava State Medical University was represented by Professor Larysa Herasymenko of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology. She delivered an oral presentation in the section “Psychosomatics Without Borders: Integration of Biological, Clinical and Cultural Approaches” titled “Narcissism as a Sociocultural Pandemic.”

Her presentation generated significant interest among participants and highlighted the relevance of an interdisciplinary approach in the field of mental health.

Preserving mental health is both a challenge and current priority that unites the medical community worldwide.
