20 лютого – дата, що назавжди змінила вектор української історії. Саме цього дня ми згадуємо тих, хто став щитом для нашої незалежності та віддав найцінніше – власне життя – за європейське майбутнє України.
З нагоди Дня Героїв Небесної Сотні в.о. завідувача кафедри філософії та суспільних наук ПДМУ, кандидат історичних наук Вікторія Каюн провела інформаційно-виховний захід для першокурсників спеціальності «Медицина» (1 та 2 групи).
Події 12-річної давнини (2014 рік) викарбувалися в пам’яті мільйонів як символ незламності. Це був фінальний акорд Революції Гідності – свідомий вибір народу розірвати кайдани «пострадянщини» та обрати шлях демократичного розвитку. Це день жалоби, адже він нагадує про велику трагедію. Проте, перш за все, ми вшановуємо не смерть, а боротьбу за вільне життя, жертовність та неймовірну відвагу українців.
Пам’ять про подвиг Небесної Сотні вшановується під гаслом «Вдячні за свободу!» Ми не маємо права забути, якою дорогою ціною дається наша свобода і незалежність, та пам’ятаємо всіх тих, хто віддав своє життя за наше право жити під мирним небом!

Grateful for Freedom: The Department of Philosophy at PSMU Honored the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred
February 20 is a date that forever changed the course of Ukrainian history. On this day, we remember those who became a shield for our independence and gave the most precious thing—their own lives—for Ukraine’s European future.
On the occasion of the Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, Acting Head of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences of PSMU, PhD in Historical Sciences Viktoriia Kaiun, held an informational and educational event for first-year students of the “Medicine” specialty (Groups 1 and 2).
The events of twelve years ago (2014) are etched in the memory of millions as a symbol of resilience. It was the final chord of the Revolution of Dignity—a conscious choice of the people to break the chains of the “post-soviet” legacy and choose the path of democratic development. It is a day of mourning, as it reminds us of a great tragedy. However, above all, we honor not death, but the struggle for a free life, the sacrifice, and the incredible courage of Ukrainians.
The memory of the feat of the Heavenly Hundred is honored under the slogan “Grateful for Freedom!” We have no right to forget the high price of our freedom and independence, and we remember all those who gave their lives for our right to live under a peaceful sky.
