Професор Гольденберг Ю.М. закінчив Харківський медичний інститут у 1972 році. До 1979р. працював лікарем, потім  – у Полтавському медичному стоматологічному інституті. Спочатку був асистентом  на кафедрі факультетської  терапії, згодом – пропедевтики внутрішніх хвороб, надалі -  доцентом. Результатом багаторічних досліджень став захист дисертаційної роботи на тему: «Перекисне окислення ліпідів і гемостаз на етапах формування основних форм хронічних неспецифічних захворювань легень і шляхи корекції”(науковий керівник – професор Кокосов О.М.) та присвоєння наукового ступеня доктора наук в 1993р. З 1994 по 2009р. Юрій Миронович очолював кафедру пропедевтики внутрішніх хвороб.

Під його керівництвом захищено 4 кандидатських дисертації. Гольденберг Ю. М. був автором понад 200 наукових та навчально-методичних робіт.  Його наукові інтереси  охоплювали багато пульмонологічних та гастроентерологічних проблем. Наукові дослідження знайшли відображення у численних друкованих працях, патентах, монографіях, посібниках.

Лекції та практичні заняття професора Гольденберга Ю.М. відзначалися високою педагогічною майстерністю та науково-професійним рівнем. Як педагог, професор Гольденберг багато років формував науковий світогляд студентів і молодих учених.  Він був дуже ерудованою,  всебічно розвинутою людиною з надзвичайним природним почуттям гумору.

Професор Гольденберг Ю.М.  мав чудовий талант Лікаря, Педагога та Науковця. Це була людина з добрим серцем, яку поважали колеги, студенти та хворі.

Адміністрація на чолі з ректором ЗВО ПДМУ Вячеславом Жданом,  профком, колектив кафедри пропедевтики внутрішньої медицини, професорсько-викладацький склад закладу вищої освіти Полтавського державного медичного університету та вся університетська спільнота  сумують  з приводу незворотної втрати професора Гольденберга Юрія Мироновича  і висловлюють щирі  співчуття рідним і близьким покійного.

Eternal Memory: The University in Mourning

At the age of 78, Professor Yurii Myronovych Goldenberg, Doctor of Medical Sciences, has passed into Eternity.

Professor Goldenberg graduated from Kharkiv Medical Institute in 1972. Until 1979, he worked as a physician, and then at the Poltava Medical Stomatological Institute. Initially, he was an assistant in the Department of Faculty Therapy, later in the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Diseases, and subsequently became an associate professor. The result of his many years of research was the defense of his dissertation titled "Peroxidation of Lipids and Hemostasis in the Stages of Formation of the Main Forms of Chronic Non-Specific Lung Diseases and Methods of Correction" (supervised by Professor O.M. Kokosov), which led to him being awarded the degree of Doctor of Sciences in 1993. From 1994 to 2009, Yurii Myronovych headed the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Diseases.

Under his leadership, four PhD dissertations were defended. Professor Goldenberg was the author of more than 200 scientific and educational-methodical works. His research interests covered many pulmonological and gastroenterological issues. His scientific work was reflected in numerous publications, patents, monographs, and teaching manuals.

Professor Goldenberg’s lectures and practical classes were distinguished by high pedagogical skill and scientific professionalism. As an educator, he shaped the scientific worldview of students and young scientists for many years. He was a highly erudite, well-rounded person with an exceptional sense of humor.

Professor Goldenberg had a wonderful talent as a Doctor, Educator and Scholar. He was a person with a kind heart, respected by colleagues, students, and patients.

The administration, led by the rector of the Poltava State Medical University, Viacheslav Zhdan, the Trade Union Committee, the faculty of the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Medicine, the academic staff of the university, and the entire university community mourn the irreversible loss of Professor Yurii Myronovych Goldenberg and extend their sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
