4 лютого в онлайн-форматі відбулося перше засідання Вченої ради Полтавського державного медичного університету у 2026 році на чолі з ректором, професором Вячеславом Жданом.
Під час засідання було обговорено стан навчання та успішність студентів за І півріччя, а також визначено завдання науково-педагогічних колективів кафедр на ІІ півріччя 2025-2026 навчального року. Доповідь з цього питання представив начальник навчального відділу, професор Іван Старченко наголосив на необхідності підвищення якості освітнього процесу та забезпечення комплексної підтримки здобувачів освіти відповідно до вимог Міністерства освіти і науки України.
Члени Вченої ради також ознайомилися з навчальними виданнями науково-педагогічних працівників університету, поданими для затвердження та отримання відповідного грифу. Із доповіддю виступив голова Науково-методичної комісії з видавничої діяльності, професор Валентин Дворник.
Окрему увагу під час засідання було приділено підсумкам атестації здобувачів другого (магістерського) рівня вищої освіти за спеціальностями 073 «Менеджмент» та 091 «Біологія та біохімія». У межах обговорення надано рекомендації й пропозиції щодо подальшого вдосконалення освітніх програм. Із доповідями виступили гарант ОПП «Менеджмент охорони здоров’я та соціальне проєктування», професор Дмитро Карамишев, та голова екзаменаційної комісії ОПП «Біологія», професор Сергій Білаш.
У ході засідання також відбулося голосування щодо затвердження складу разових спеціалізованих вчених рад для захисту дисертацій аспірантів кафедр університету на здобуття ступеня доктора філософії.
Підсумовуючи роботу Вченої ради, ректор університету побажав колективу успіхів у новому навчальному році та плідної роботи.

The First Academic Council Meeting of PSMU in 2026 Took Place
On 4 February, the first Academic Council meeting of Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) in 2026 was held online, chaired by the Rector, Professor Viacheslav Zhdan.
During the meeting, participants discussed the state of education and student academic performance for the first semester, as well as outlined the tasks for academic and teaching staff for the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year. A report on this issue was delivered by Professor Ivan Starchenko, the Head of the Academic Affairs Department, who emphasized the need to improve the quality of the educational process and ensure comprehensive support for students in line with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Members of the Academic Council also reviewed educational publications prepared by the university’s academic staff and submitted for approval and official endorsement. The report was presented by Professor Valentyn Dvornyk, the Chair of the Scientific and Methodological Commission on Publishing Activities.
Special attention was given to the results of the attestation of second-cycle (Master’s level) students in the specialties 073 “Management” and 091 “Biology and Biochemistry.” Recommendations and proposals for further improvement of the educational programs were provided. Reports were delivered by Professor Dmytro Karamyshev, guarantor of the educational program “Healthcare Management and Social Project Development,” and Professor Serhii Bilash, Chair of the Examination Board for the “Biology” program.
The meeting also included a vote to approve the composition of ad hoc specialized academic councils for the defense of PhD dissertations by the university’s postgraduate students.
Summing up the meeting, the Rector wished the university community success in the new academic year and productive work ahead.
