17–18 березня 2026 року у стінах Полтавського державного медичного університету відбулася Всеукраїнська науково-практична конференція молодих вчених з міжнародною участю «Сучасні дослідження імунології та алергології», присвячена 85-річчю з дня народження видатного українського вченого, доктора медичних наук, професора Георгія Миколайовича Дранніка (1941–2024) – засновника української школи клінічної імунології та алергології і автора фундаментальних підручників з імунології, за якими навчалося не одне покоління медиків.
Конференція відбулася з ініціативи проректора з наукової роботи, доктора медичних наук, професора кафедри внутрішньої медицини №3 з фтизіатрією ПДМУ Ігоря Кайдашева та за активної участі співробітників кафедри. Захід об’єднав провідних спеціалістів у галузі імунології, алергології та суміжних дисциплін з різних регіонів України та із закордону.
У науковій програмі конференції були представлені лекції провідних науковців і практикуючих лікарів, а молоді вчені мали можливість поділитися результатами своїх досліджень під час усних доповідей.
У рамках майстер-класу учасники ознайомилися із сучасними підходами до діагностики IgE-залежних алергічних захворювань, теоретичними основами та відбором пацієнтів для алерген-специфічної імунотерапії (АСІТ), а також з цікавими кейс-аналізами з практики.
Отримані знання та досвід будуть впроваджені у науково-педагогічну діяльність кафедри внутрішньої медицини №3 ПДМУ для здобувачів 5 курсу та лікарів-інтернів зі спеціальності «Внутрішні хвороби».

All-Ukrainian Conference of Young Scientists at PSMU: Two Days of Science and Practice Completed
On March 17–18, 2026, Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) hosted the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists with international participation, titled “Contemporary Research in Immunology and Allergology,” dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian scientist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Heorhii Mykolaiovych Drannik (1941–2024) – founder of the Ukrainian school of clinical immunology and allergology and author of fundamental immunology textbooks that have educated multiple generations of medical professionals.
The conference was initiated by Professor Igor Kaidashev, the Vice-Rector for Research, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 with Phthisiology at PSMU, with the active participation of the department staff. The event brought together leading specialists in immunology, allergology, and related disciplines from different regions of Ukraine as well as from abroad.
The scientific program included lectures by leading researchers and practicing physicians, while young scientists had the opportunity to present the results of their studies through oral presentations.
As part of the master class, participants explored modern approaches to diagnosing IgE-mediated allergic diseases, the theoretical foundations and patient selection for allergen-specific immunotherapy (AIT), as well as engaging case analyses from clinical practice.
The knowledge and experience gained will be implemented in the scientific and educational activities of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 at PSMU for fifth-year students and medical interns specializing in “Internal Medicine.”
