Викладачі кафедри українознавства та гуманітарної підготовки ПДМУ разом зі здобувачами освіти курованих груп 22 травня 2026 року долучилися онлайн до Всеукраїнського просвітницького форуму з міжнародною участю «Оцінка постаті Симона Петлюри в Україні та світі», який відбувся в межах комеморативних заходів до 100-річчя Дня пам’яті Симона Петлюри. Форум проведено за сприяння Департаменту інформаційної діяльності та комунікацій з громадськістю Полтавської обласної військової адміністрації.
Учасники проаналізували сприйняття українського державотворця в європейській та світовій історіографії. Особливу увагу спікери звернули на розвінчання радянських і сучасних російських пропагандистських стереотипів навколо діяльності Директорії УНР. Дискусія допомогла викладачам і студентам глибше пізнати складні процеси Української революції 1917–1921 років.
Участь у таких заходах сприяє формуванню національної свідомості майбутніх медиків та розвитку їхнього критичного мислення. Кафедра українознавства та гуманітарної підготовки продовжує активно залучати молодь до науково-просвітницьких заходів задля збереження історичної пам’яті.

All-Ukrainian Educational Forum with International Participation “Assessment of the Figure of Symon Petliura in Ukraine and the World”
On May 22, 2026, lecturers of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanities of PSMU, together with students of the supervised groups, joined online the All-Ukrainian Educational Forum with international participation, “Assessment of the Figure of Symon Petliura in Ukraine and the World,” held as part of the commemorative events marking the 100th anniversary of the Day of Remembrance of Symon Petliura. The forum was organized with the support of the Department of Information Activities and Public Communications of the Poltava Regional Military Administration.
Participants analyzed the perception of the Ukrainian statesman in European and world historiography. Particular attention was paid by the speakers to debunking soviet and contemporary russian propaganda stereotypes surrounding the activities of the Directorate of the Ukrainian People’s Republic (UPR). The discussion helped lecturers and students gain a deeper understanding of the complex processes of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917–1921
Participation in such events contributes to the development of national consciousness among future medical professionals and fosters their critical thinking skills. The Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanities continues to actively engage young people in scientific and educational initiatives aimed at preserving historical memory.
