На черговому засіданні студентського наукового гуртка кафедри анатомії людини ПДМУ було заслухано гуртківців з усними доповідями, підготовленими для участі в Міжнародній студентській науковій конференції «International Medical Students Conference in Poltava (IMEDSCOP) 2026», що відбудеться у м. Полтава 19 березня 2026 року.
Антон Бунін (здобувач ІІІ курсу медичного факультету №1) представив доповідь про використання краніометричних показників під час визначення статевої належності черепів людини. Було акцентовано, що в умовах сучасних збройних конфліктів актуальність методу зростає через необхідність ідентифікації загиблих у випадках, коли тіла значно фрагментовані. Наголошено, що краніометрія сьогодні – це не «застаріла анатомія», а фундаментальний інструмент, який інтегрується з цифровими технологіями для швидкої та точної ідентифікації особи.

Олександра Пікуль (здобувачка ІІІ курсу медичного факультету №2) представила доповідь про морфологію та морфометрію системи вивідних проток сльозових залоз щура: порівняльний аналіз екстраорбітальної, інтраорбітальної та Гардерової залоз. Актуальність теми зумовлена роллю щура як основної експериментальної моделі для вивчення захворювань очей людини. Вивчення вивідних проток сльозових залоз щура є важливим для розробки нових методів діагностики та лікування захворювань очної поверхні, де морфометричний аналіз виступає одним із ключових критеріїв доказовості.

At a regular meeting of the Student Scientific Group of the Department of Human Anatomy at Poltava State Medical University (PSMU), student members delivered oral presentations prepared for participation in the International Student Scientific Conference “International Medical Students Conference in Poltava (IMEDSCOP) 2026,” which will take place in Poltava on March 19, 2026.
Anton Bunin (a third-year student of Medical Faculty No. 1) presented a report on the use of craniometric indicators in determining the sex of human skulls. It was emphasized that in the context of modern armed conflicts, the relevance of this method is increasing due to the need to identify the deceased in cases where bodies are significantly fragmented. The presentation highlighted that craniometry today is not “outdated anatomy,” but rather a fundamental tool integrated with digital technologies for rapid and accurate personal identification.

Oleksandra Pikul (a third-year student of Medical Faculty No. 2) delivered a presentation on the morphology and morphometry of the duct system of rat lacrimal glands: a comparative analysis of the extraorbital, intraorbital, and Harderian glands. The relevance of the topic is stipulated by the role of the rat as a primary experimental model for studying human eye diseases. The study of the excretory ducts of rat lacrimal glands is important for developing new diagnostic and treatment methods for ocular surface diseases, where morphometric analysis serves as one of the key criteria of evidence-based research.
